A couple of things:

#1 – Studio 8 needs your voting expertise in an event happening right now!

Our video “Couchy” has been chosen to compete against 2 other videos for the chance to air on Comedy Central’s AtomTV in the coming months. We’ve already won this competition 3 times in the last year because of our wonderful friends and fans voting for us and we’d love to do it a 4th time. You will have to do a quick sign-up before you can vote the first time, but they don’t spam you with anything and it only takes one minute (and then you can vote in only one second after that). Voting lasts until next Friday (6/26), so you can vote many many times until then. So please CLICK HERE and help vote Couchy onto national television!

#2 – Speaking of Friday, for everyone who lives in Los Angeles, I wanted to remind/inform you that this Friday (6/26), Studio 8 will be hosting/performing in the 2009 Air Sex World Championships at the Echoplex in Silverlake. Terp is currently hosting the show, which has been touring the entire country and features people humping the air to awesome music. Now it’s coming to LA for one night only. It’s a really fun show to watch, but it’s even more fun to compete. The winners get flown to the official Air Sex Finals and get to win some neat prizes. Brock will be guest judging and several Studio 8 folks like Eric Pierson, Drew Baldwin, and Jared Richard will either be competing or watching and drinking on the sidelines. We will also be partying it up afterwards at Studio 8 Headquarters in Echo Park and would love to hang out with you. CLICK HERE for all the details!

Dear Studio 8 Friends,

Studio 8 was just chosen as Top 20 Semi-Finalists in YouTube’s “Sketchies 2 Contest” and now we need lots o’ votes to make it to Round 2 in which we’ll be in the Top 10 and make another sketch and then hopefully win $40,000 and a fancy talent agency meeting. And we’re gonna need every vote that we can scrounge up because the competition looks to be quite fierce with all kinds of bots and hackers and weirdos cheating and what-not.

That’s where you come in. What do ya say….hmmmm????

And cycle through the voting thingy on the right of the screen and vote a Thumbs Up for the Studio8 sketch, which is called “Road Trip!”. You can watch our sketch and the other 19 videos if you have the time/willpower/fortitude and dedication to online comedy.

You have from now until March 19th to vote for us and supposedly, you can vote once per day. That’s like 6 votes you could give us just by yourself!

We’re sincerely honored that our little video was chosen out of all the 800 other videos submitted and this is a pretty big deal for us. Thanks for helping us out any way you can, either by voting or passing this message along to others you know who might be interested.
