We’re going to The South By Southwest Film & Music Festival to do several fun things and if you’d like to join us there, this is the place to find our up-to-the minute schedule! We’ll be having live screenings of some never-before-seen videos, Terp 2 It will be performing his rapping music, Brock and Chris will do their McDonald’s sketch show, and there’s even going to be some fun standup comedy. Over the years, Studio 8 has been blessed to work with and be friends of a standup comic named Sean Patton, who lives in New York now. Lately, that little drummer boy has done quite well in the comedy circuit and he just went to the Montreal Comedy Festival and made a big stink up there. Here’s a link to an article about his exploits.
I hope they both work, and Sean, if you’re reading this, you are the balls, dude. Keep it up.
Studio 8 was just chosen as Top 20 Semi-Finalists in YouTube’s “Sketchies 2 Contest” and now we need lots o’ votes to make it to Round 2 in which we’ll be in the Top 10 and make another sketch and then hopefully win $40,000 and a fancy talent agency meeting. And we’re gonna need every vote that we can scrounge up because the competition looks to be quite fierce with all kinds of bots and hackers and weirdos cheating and what-not.
That’s where you come in. What do ya say….hmmmm????
