Studio 8's Sketchfest NYC Adventure

Hey all,
Just wanted to give you a little recap of some things we did in New York last week.
- Our video “Uncle Terry” was featured in SketchFest at the prestigious UCB Theater in NYC. We got to meet lots of great sketch groups and comedians there and we are thankful to everyone for saying such nice things and for being our new homies. If you performed at Sketchfest and didn’t get to meet us, send me an email and I will schedule a special secret meeting place and time (just for you!)
- We had a real neat interview with the Comedy Nerds Podcast that you can listen to HERE. I would embed it if I could, but I can’t! We’re the second-to-last group interviewed, if you want to skip ahead to our part. But you should listen to the whole thing because they interviewed lots of fun groups.
- Terp is hosting/producing a show called the Air Sex World Championships that’s currently touring America and we got to help do a HUGE, nearly sold-out show at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. An old Studio 8 friend performed as “Dirty D” and a relatively new Studio 8 friend known as Brookers performed as “Lil Sweet Pea”. Neither one of them won, though, because a small Asian man did. Also, if you live in LA, we’ll be doing an Air Sex show at the Echoplex in Echo Park on June 26th. I will be a guest judge and several Studio 8 friends and members will be performing and/or in attendance. Be sure to get your tickets for that show so you can compete and hang out with us!
- Another thing that happened in New York was that some evil space aliens invaded Earth and we were able to stop them from destroying the human race by showing them our buttholes. Here’s a picture of what it looked like:
