S8 Upd8: Comedy Central Shoot Pics #1!
May 4th, 2010
Hey all,
Last week, Studio 8 got the opportunity to shoot a really sweet project for television, and while we can’t yet reveal who the big stars in it are or what they did, we can share some behind the scenes pics that don’t show any major sets, characters, props, or plot details.
Basically, all we can show you now are pictures of Studio 8 peeps goofing off and looking dumb. Do you want to see that? If so, scroll down and look at all the pictures below!
- Co-Producer Java Marcheselli thinks he can ride a dolly like that!
- Us thinking that we’re in over our heads on this one (but we weren’t).
- Sometimes you just can’t get enough, huh?
- Producer/Cameraman Yaque Silva-Doyle with the RED camera we shot with.
- Akul capturing some sweet behind the scenes action.
- Again, Brock not believing what he just saw on camera.
- Hey, whose leg is that anyway???
- Terp just bein’ cute n’ such!
- You won’t believe your eyes or ears when you see this scene.
- Justine Ezarik and Brooke Brodack acting like actresses for us!
- PA Akul Dang gets totally busted visiting The Done Zone!
- Rory and Akul defying gravity for your pleasure.
- Writer/Director Brock not believing what he just saw.
- Writer/Director Jared trying not to smell one of the many farts on set.
- Brock & Terp shooting their scene together on a beautiful set.
- Rehearsing a real cool scene on the Da Prices Cafe set.
- Actor Rory Windhorst being a sweet boy. What’s that sitting next to him?
- More clues about this project…
- Terp putting in a few solid hours in a nearby sweatshop while we film.
- Lots of people using lots of stuff to do lots of things.
- Craft services on the last day of shooting. Notice the Done Zone on the right.
We’re currently editing this beast and it’s looking like it will be the biggest, fanciest, funniest, prettiest thing we’ve ever done and we can’t wait to reveal this project in its full glory to the world. In the coming months, we’ll be releasing more pictures, videos, and promotional items to get you even more pumped up about this.
You – our fans, viewers, and readers – are the reason we do what we do. Thanks for watching our stuff, buying our merch, and pushing us forward in our comedic quest.
Kisses forever,
Brock and the Studio 8 boys
