Brock LaBorde Born in Texas, raised in Texas, and disgusted with Texas, Brock received a BA degree in Creative Writing, along with a BS degree in Animal, Dairy, & Poultry, from Louisiana State University. Slightly before and after graduation, Brock began working in several local theaters and began working on a sketch comedy show for LSU's Tiger TV. He also became heavily involved with the growth of a small (at the time) entertainment website, www.studio8.net. Since then, Brock has helped produce hours of sketch comedy, several short films, one feature-length film, a sitcom pilot, a few comedy albums, and tons of writing - stories, articles, poetry, one published book, and a couple of feature-length screenplays. Brock won Best Actor and Best Comedic Short in the 2002 Outhouse Film Festival for the Studio 8 short film "The Bathroom Attendant" He also won Best Actor in the 2004 Outhouse Film Festival for his performance in Studio 8's feature "Everything is Everything". He has performed in improv, sketch, and standup shows all across the nation. Currently, Brock is writing his second book and too may other things and lives as yet another drop in the piss-bucket of Hollywood's TV & film industry. In Brock's spare time, he enjoys working.
