Video Promo Video for TrekPassions.com Studio 8 was hired to produce some silly internet promo videos for an online social network that caters to people who share similar interests. One of the niche sites within that network is TrekPassions.com, a place for sci-fi enthusiasts, techno geeks, and all sorts of intelligent creatures to gather and forge lasting relationships with one another. So we traveled back in time to 1984, bought the finest early 1980's home videotaping equipment, and we shot the below commercial. We released the video to the public immediately, but it was met with confusion and indifference for 15 years until after the internet had been invented and the TrekPassions.com website was actually created. Now it's a smashing success!
