Handsome Mikey's Birthday Bash

Handsome
Mikey talked about his birthday for weeks and weeks, but nobody remembered until he
called from the driveway on the morning of his birthday to say that he was about to come inside.
Within seconds, the gang
threw together a makeshift surprise birthday party for him.
His party was really just everyone hiding, jumping out, and then yelling
"Surprise!" when he walked in the door. Mikey acted surprised and then wanted to know where his presents
were. However, everyone had already forgotten him and gone back to what they
had previously been doing.
Handsome Mikey wanted to celebrate his birthday by playing this
awesome new video game that his mom had recently stolen for him. He brought it over
to show everyone, but Jared and John instantly jumped on the controllers and
played for four hours straight.
After breaking the video game by spilling a mint chocolate chip-flavored
daiquiri on it, everyone thought they'd make it up to Mikey by lining up and
giving him presents,
which were really just random items from around the house that nobody wanted anymore.
Mikey disappointedly took the presents - a busted bean bag chair (Ashlin),
whatever was left of the daiquiri (Brock), Chris' dirty sock (Jared), Mikey's
own microphone and stand (Andrew), an Employee of the Month certificate from
K-Mart (John), and his broken video game (Jared) - and left them in a big pile on
the floor.
Angry and depressed, Mikey gave the pile a hearty leg-drop, which he had
learned by watching a wrestling video earlier in the day. This made the
presents worth even less. It also severely bruised Mikey's tailbone.
