Jenna Morasca and Heidi Strobel, two contestants from CBS’ sixth installment of reality game show Survivor, have announced that they will both be reading next month’s issue of Playboy Magazine. Already, diehard fans of the show have been stirring about the news, speculating about which issue the two will read, whether or not they will be reading it together, what features and articles the two will enjoy most, and the possibility of Heidi’s breasts being fake.

           Morasca, the Pittsburgh native who walked away with the $1 million prize from Survivor: Amazon, says that after winning, she has been approached by numerous sponsors looking to cash in on her sudden and most likely short-lived popularity.

“I had just finished signing a contract for Starburst Fruit Chew Bites when Playboy’s people came up to me and asked if I wanted to pose nude for them and I immediately said, ‘Sure, I will gladly read an issue of your magazine.’ I mean, who wouldn’t do that in my position? I’m young and hot and very famous now, so I can do this sort of thing and not be seen as slutty,” Morasca said.

Strobel, a Missouri gym teacher, says she refuses to be outdone once again by the woman who beat her at the ultimate game of survival, which is not really a game of survival at all, but more of a game of lounging, almost starving, lying to your friends, and being naked.

“When I saw Jenna say she’d do it, I was totally inspired and jealous, so I walked right over and told that Playboy representative that I would read an issue, too. Maybe even two issues. Well, he had this confused look on his face, and then he left the room. I guess people can’t handle us being famous and doing provocative things like reading a men’s porno magazine,” Strobel explained.

Publicists for the two women claim that as soon as next month’s issue hits newsstands, “Heidi and Jenna will sit down and read the entire issue, cover to cover, holding nothing back and baring it all for their fans.”

            “The last book that I read was the February issue of Entertainment Weekly,” Strobel said. “I remember it because they had a little story about how cool reality TV is and there was this cute picture of me in there. Reading’s really not that fun, but I’m willing to do whatever I have to in order to stay in the public’s eye.”

            “I hope my parents aren’t embarrassed by me doing this, but it’s the only thing I can think of doing now that I’m a millionaire. Plus, I’ve never read Playboy before. Hustler and Big Black Beauties, yes, but never Playboy,” Morasca said.

            According to sources, the other fourteen Survivor: Amazon contestants have also expressed interest in reading next month’s issue of Playboy, though most of them backed out when they were told that Carnie Wilson would be posing in it.
